League Types

Redraft Leagues:
Redraft leagues are leagues that start over every year. At the end of a fantasy season, all players are removed from the teams they are on and made available for the next season’s draft.
Leagues are not as active as other types of leagues as this is all about drafting.

Keeper Leagues:
Keeper Leagues fall between Redraft and Dynasty Leagues. Keeper leagues are leagues that allow owners to maintain some continuity from season to season by protecting a set number of players. This number will vary from league to league and may or may not be a fixed or “hard” number.
You’ll be able to keep your best players while still enjoying an annual draft. This format creates more active leagues than redraft leagues as teams are constantly looking to improve for the current season while keeping an eye on the next.

Dynasty Leagues:
Dynasty are the most realistic when it comes to building a franchise. A savvy owner may have many years of continual success as players obtained either through draft or through trade remain on a team’s roster from year to year, thus making that team a “dynasty”.
Leagues are active with trading as obtaining “your” players becomes a more important part of building your franchise. Draft also becomes more important for teams that are just starting to build their team. Drafts are worst to first in each round giving the bottom teams’ access to top rookies.

Drafts

Timed Drafts:
The draft timer will be set at 6 hours per selection with the clock stopping during the overnight hours. Teams may still draft during this time, however teams will not “time out” and lose their draft pick during this time.  Leagues may trade before, during and after the draft.

Live Drafts:
All teams attend a live online draft in league sites draft room. The draft timer will be set at 2 minutes per selection. This type of draft will normally take 2 to 3 hours to complete and most players prefer this type of draft as trash talking starts before the draft does.
